The Akoo University Network is an innovative interactive television service for students. The network launched in March 2008 at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX and currently is available in leading colleges and universities across the country. Akoo delivers licensed music videos from all four major record labels, as well as exclusive artist interviews and original programming. The network is powered by a unique, patented technology that enables students to select on-demand music videos and interact with big-screen HDTVs using their mobile phones. Akoo is available in schools’ residential dining halls, retail food courts, student unions and/or recreational centers.
